Dr.edouard Choufani

Biography

Dr. Edouard Choufani graduated with a D.D.S. in 1983; from the University of St Joseph Dental School – Beirut, Lebanon; Did his postgraduate studies and training in Fixed Prosthodontics and Occlusion at the University of Paris VII – France in 1984-1986. Was a faculty member at the Department of Fixed Prosthesis and Occlusion at St Joseph University – Beirut; in 1986 – 1987, joined Tawam Hospital Dental Services – Al Ain – Abu Dhabi since 1988. Dr. Choufani contributed to the creation and expansion of the Dental Implantology services offered at Tawam Dental Department since 1998. After successful examination and defense of complex clinical oral rehabilitation cases using dental implants, obtained the FELLOW membership status from The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, in May 2007, and is the only accredited Fellow AAID in the UAE to date. Dr. Choufani regularly lectures on the topic of regular and advanced dental implants procedures and implant borne restorations, especially focused on bone augmentation and reconstructive surgery techniques.
