Biography
Carla has over 20 years experience as an accomplished senior executive in various industries and sectors including not-for-profit and member-based organisations. Most recently, she was the CEO at national peak body and member-based organisation Family Day Care Australia.Carla has strong and proven experience with a highly applicable background that aligns well in leading Vision 2020 Australia into its next phase. Her background in the health area gained through her roles at the Vision Eye Institute and Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute will be highly valued in her new role. Carla also possesses a highly developed political acumen and has extensive experience engaging with the Australian Government on advocacy issues on behalf of members, recognised through an appointment to a Ministerial Advisory Committee
