Biography
Doc. Dr. Koray Özduman was born in Istanbul on November 15th,1973. He graduated from St George Austrian College in 1992. He graduated from Istanbul University Medical School in 1998. He finished his Neurosurgery training at Marmara University School of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery in 2005. He worked at the Yale University as a ‘clinical fellow’ between 2002-2003, and also as a ‘research fellow’ between 2005-2007. After completing his military service in 2008, he began to work in the department of Neurosurgery at the Kozyatagi Hospital. In 2009, he became an Assistant Professor and in 2011, Associate Professor of Neurosurgery Awards, •University of Rochester, Department of pediatrics, L.J. Saphiro student research scholarship, 1995 •Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Council - Brain Research Society (TUBITAK-BAD)award, 2004. •Anna-Fuller Fellowship in Molecular Neurooncology, 2006 •Turkish Neurosurgical Society, Hamit Ziya Gökalp Honorary Young Investigator award, First prize, 2009 •Turkish Neurosurgical Society, Mahir Tevruz Honorary Sicentific Research Award, 2011 He is a father of two.
