Umut Ersoy

Biography

Umut Sinan Ersoy, who was born in 1981, after having graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine (English section), completed his 6 years long surgical and academic training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery department in the same university and became a specialist doctor of his field in 2011. Having completed obligatory public service between years 2011-2013, he started working in Acıbadem University Atakent Hospital to continue his academic and professional activities and he is still working as a staff doctor in this institution.

Research Interest

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: Cranio-maxillofacial surgery (cleft lip and palate surgery, craniofacial deformity surgery, orthognathic surgery, craniosynostosis surgery, maxillofacial trauma surgery), skin and soft tissue tumours, head and neck reconstruction, breast reconstruction, extremity reconstruction, microsurgery, hand surgery. Aesthetic Surgery: Functional and aesthetic nose surgery, aesthetic eye-lid surgery, face-lift, ear deformity surgery, aesthetic breast reduction, breast lift and breast augmentation surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction, lipoinjection procedures, genital aesthetic surgery, dermabrasion, scar revision, hair transplantation, laser procedures, stem cell and tissue engineering.
