Biography
Born in Çorlu in 1963. She studied landscape architecture at Ankara University. She completed her PhD. at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Ankara University. Her research interests include spatial transformations through tourism, regeneration of historic towns, landscape and urban design studio education and European Landscape Convention. Selected publications on these topics are: "Complexity of Socio-spatial Transformations Through Tourism: A Mediterranean Village, Kaleköy" (with Incirlioglu E. O.), "Space Changes Through Time: Mardin in Question" (with Tokol S. A.) and "Ulusal Peyzaj Değerleri ve Avrupa Peyzaj Sözleşmesi" (with Arapkirlioglu K.). She has been a member of the Executive Committee of Chamber of Landscape Architects of Turkey since April 2004.
