Biography
Saim ÜSTÜNDAÄž, born in MuÄŸla in 1972, graduated the Department of Economics of the Middle East Technical University in 1994. Having started his professional career in Arthur Andersen Turkey, he joined the CMB in 1995, where he held various positions. After receiving a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois (USA) in 2005, ÜSTÜNDAÄž was awarded a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate in the USA. In 2005-2007, he held the position of the Secretary General of the Turkish Accounting Standards Board (TASB) with the Ministry of Finance, followed by the position of a partner in the Auditing Division of Deloitte Turkey between 2007 and 2014. Saim ÜSTÜNDAÄž, who holds various capital market licenses, including the SMMM Certificate, Independent Auditing License, the Capital Market Corporate Governance Rating License, the Capital Market Activities Advanced Level License, has been serving as the Head of the Audit Group of Çalık Holding since 2015.
