Kris Karson

Biography

 Kris Karson is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at DRG and joins the management team with over 20 years of experience across the healthcare and technology industries, spanning roles in corporate and business development, business management and operations, strategic and financial planning, and investment banking.  Kris is responsible for DRG’s corporate development and inorganic strategy execution including acquisitions, integrations, investments and partnerships. Prior to joining DRG, Kris was Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for the Performance Services division at Premier, Inc., leading 3 years of significant inorganic growth in healthcare informatics and overseeing strategy, corporate and business development through acquisitions, investments and strategic channel partnerships. Prior to Premier, Kris was a Director at Microsoft within its Venture Integration and Health Solutions Group teams, led global strategic finance and operations at Razorfish, and began his career in healthcare investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston. Kris holds a BS in biology (neuroscience) from Duke University and a MS in biology from New York University.
