Biography

Dr. Esra Erdal, associate professor in the Medical Biology and Genetics Department of Dokuz Eylül University’s Medical Faculty, was given a “Scientific Research Funding Award” for the period 2013-2014 for her work on “LGR5/Wnt/b Catenin Signalization, Hepatic Cancer Stem Cells’ (HpKKH) In Vitro Tumorigenesis Capacity and Effect on the Epithelial- Mesenchymal Transition”. Dr. Erol received her award from Sedat Birol, Eczacıbaşı Group Vice President of Healthcare, and Professor Dr. Emin Kansu, Chairman of the Scientific Evaluation Board of the Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbaşı Medical Award Fund.
