Ülkü Feyyaz Taktak

Biography

Taktak began his career in 1979 as Project Engineer at Tekfen Manufacturing and Engineering. Between 1983 and 1985 he was Project Engineer at Türkiye Şişe Cam, after which he moved to İktisat Bank and began his human resources career. He was Remuneration Manager and Human Resource Planning Manager between 1985 and 1987. Between 1987 and 1989 he was Personnel Manager, Human Resources Planning Manager and Advisor to the General Manager at Anadolu Bank and Emlak Bank. In 1989 and 1990, he was employed by Marmara Management Financial Services as Personnel Manager, and in the second half of 1990, he was employed by Veb Holding as Vice President of Administrative Affairs. In 1991, Taktak joined Yapı and Kredi Bank, where he served as Vice President in charge of Human Resources until his appointment, in 1994, as Executive Vice President in charge of Human Resources. He remained in this position until his retirement in May 2004. He joined the Eczacıbaşı Group as Vice President in charge of Human Resources in October 2004. Ülkü Feyyaz Taktak is s a Member of the Board of PERYÖN (Turkish Human Resources Management Association) and a Member of the Board of Trustees of Turkish Employers' Association of Metal Industries. Born in 1952, Taktak carried out his undergraduate and graduate studies at Boğaziçi University, receiving his undergraduate degree in 1975 and his master’s in Mechanical Engineering in 1979.
