Biography
He is currently director for training and development at the Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Research Foundation for the History of Science in Islam , a post I took up in Istanbul in September 2011. While teaching at the History of Science (BA / MA) at the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University in Istanbul, Of geography And the Arabic-Islamic contributions to the development of the cartography from the 9th - 19th Century. In my capacity as visiting lecturer at Bremen University I will continue to teach at the department of Cultural Studies. The seminars scheduled for autumn 2015 and winter 2016 will focus on the history of science as a universal heritage, while specific emphasis will be placed on the flourishing Arabic-Islamic period and its visualization in cartography. Islamic Philosophy and Occidental Phenomenology in Dialogue is a book series which orientates towards a New Enlightenment.
