Hasan Akay

Biography

Dr. Hasan Akay (Bahçecik / Izmit, l957). He completed the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Istanbul University, Faculty of Literature (1981). He worked as a literature teacher at Private Star College for a while (1981-1982). In the field of New Turkish Literature he received his doctorate in 1989, associate professor in 1998, professor in 2004. He worked as a lecturer in the Turkish Language Department at the Istanbul University Faculty of Literature (1983-84), Mimar Sinan University (1992-2002) and as a lecturer at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Sakarya University Faculty of Arts and Literature (2002-2010). Fatih Sultan Mehmet is a faculty member of Social Sciences Institute at Vakıf University. TDK is a member of the Scientific Committee. He wrote in various magazines and on the arts pages of the newspapers.
