Biography
He is born in K. Karapınar (ERMENEK) on 02.08.1947. After graduating from Adiller Primary School, he finished Ermenek Secondary School and Konya Erkek Lisesi in turn. In February 1967, he enrolled in Istanbul University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. On November 1, 1970, a library officer was appointed to the Turkic Institute. On May 3, 1971, he completed the faculty of faculty and was registered as a doctoral student in November of the same year. In June 1973, Erzurum Ataturk University was appointed as an Ottoman assistant to the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Letters and started his Ph.D. studies and received his doctor title on 21 June 1977. On 07 July 1978 he was appointed as an assistant at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Ataturk University, Faculty of Letters. He went to France in 1981-1982 school year to develop foreign language and research on the field. He was an Assistant Professor on November 5, 1982 and an Associate Professor in New Turkish Language on 20 April 1983. He was appointed as an associate professor in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Ataturk University, Faculty of Science and Letters on February 16, 1984, and he was in the Turkish Language Department until 25 August 1986. Meanwhile, in addition to the fact that he was attached, Prof. Dr. During the deaning years of M. Kaya Bilgegil (1982-1984), he conducted Turkish Language and Ottoman lessons in Kazim Karabekir Education Faculty. On August 27, 1986, he was transferred to the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Department of Turkish Literature, Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters. On April 3, 1989, he was promoted to Professor in the Department of Ancient History of Old Turkish Literature. On September 18, 1989, Istanbul University Faculty of Letters was brought to the Department of Turkish Language and Literature and Department of Ancient History of Turkish Literature. In addition, he conducted the Department of Turkish Language and Literature Department of Turkish Folk Literature until 1996. He retired from 1989 until the date of 2.8.2014 Presidency of Department of Old Turkish Literature and between 15.5.2010-20.9.2012 in the Institute of Turkic Research found. Professor Dr.
