Biography
After graduating from Hacettepe University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1986, he completed his doctoral studies at the Institute of Health Sciences of Ankara University in 1989 and at the Institute of Health Sciences of Hacettepe University in 1994. He was appointed associate professor in 1997 and professor in 2004. Within the scope of the Erasmus program, Hoge School van Amsterdam participated in a faculty exchange program and clinical visits. He participated in various courses on ergotherapy (work and occupational therapy) as a representative to the annual European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education (ENOTHE) meetings. In 2006 he took part in the organization of the 12th ENOTHE meeting in Ankara and as a trained instructor. He is working as the Vice President of the Ergotherapy Association, as well as the World Federation Occupational Therapy (WFOT) revision of minimum standards for educational programs for ergotherapy. He is still the Vice President of Department of Ergotherapy at Hacettepe University and continues his clinical studies as a lecturer at the Department of Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation (Ergotherapy) Unit.
