Nihat Dilsiz

Biography

Dr. Dilsiz received his Ph.D. degree on Heterologous expression and structural arrangement of native and mutant forms of the major intrinsic protein (MIP) of rat eye lens at the university of Reading, (England) in 1995. During the postgraduate education he spent several terms at the same university.He was awarded for Fellowship to continue the research at the university of Leipzig, Germany. He was the Dean of Faculty of Science and Arts at the university of Harran (Turkey) from 2007 to 2015. He is the Director of the Central Laboratory since 2005 and head of Molecular Biology and Genetics since 2011 at the same university. Research Interest

Heterologous gene expression, apoptosis, DNA sequencing, epigenetics, gene expression analysis by real time PCR and Microarray techniques, human microRNA profile in cancer tissues.
