Biography
Dr Sotiris Mitralexis received a doctorate in Philosophy from the Freie Universität Berlin (2014) and a degree in Classics from the University of Athens (2010). He has taught Philosophy at BoÄŸaziçi University (Istanbul), Athens and Berlin. His publications include: Ever-Moving Repose: The Notion of Time in Maximus the Confessor’s Philosophy Through the Perspective of a Relational Ontology (Berlin: Freie Univ. Berlin, PhD Diss., 2014) and the edited volume Ludwig Wittgenstein between Analytic Philosophy and Apophaticism (Newcastle: Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2015).
Research Interest
Ontology/Metaphysics, Byzantine philosophy, philosophy of religion and epistemology are among his main areas of study and research.
