Biography
He graduated from Bursa Işıklar Military High School in 1986 with first place. Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) completed medicine (1992) at the Military Medical Faculty and his specialty training in biochemistry and clinical biochemistry (1998). After medical training, he worked as a general practitioner in various military units and as a biochemist at Sarıkamış Soldier Hospital after his specialist training. During his specialization, he studied the molecular mechanisms of aging using cell senescence and C. elegans models at the Baylor College of Medicine "Huffington Center on Aging" in Houston, USA, for a year from 1999 to 2000. Following this, he served as assistant professor at GATA Biochemistry and Clinical Biochemistry AD in 2000-2006 He received his master's degree in bioinformatics from Ankara University Biotechnology Institute (2004-2007). In 2007 he became a doctors in biochemistry. In 2006-2008 he served as the biochemistry laboratory officer of the GATA TSK Rehabilitation and Care Center. He started his doctoral studies in Pharmaceutical Botany at Ankara University Health Sciences Institute in 2008 in order to make more use of medical plants especially in aging researches, but he froze in the thesis phase. He was appointed as the head of the laboratory department of Erzincan Military Hospital after his term of office in Ankara was filled in 2008 and then he was appointed as assistant principal. During this period, he gave lectures at Erzincan University and conducted research projects. In addition, Erzincan Private Neon Hospital Laboratory was founded in 2010 as a part of the program. He continued his researches on aging biology in the Biogeonology Laboratory, which he founded in 2011-2014 at Akdeniz University Teknokenti. At the end of 2014, Kemerburgaz (Altinbas) University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Istanbul was appointed as a professor of biochemistry department. In 2016.
