Biography
In 1980, he graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Letters and entered the Department of Ancient History of Ancient Turkish Literature. In 1987 he entered XVI. He finished his PhD dissertation on Literary Tasks in MesnaVi of Anatolia until the Asiatic. In 1991-1993 academic year, he was a visiting lecturer at the Ohio State University in USA with the dissertation on "Daily Life in Ottoman Empire in Light of Literary Texts" in "Near Eastern Languages ​​and Literatures". Associate Professor in 1993 at Istanbul University. He gave lectures and published books on community life issues in the light of literary history, text commentary, literary texts and literary texts as a professor in 1999. Some of his works are: Yahya Beg's Prince Mustafa Mersiyesi or Kanuni Hicviyesi (Enderun Kitabevi, 1998); Ottoman Poetry Anthology, (Yapı Kredi Culture and Art Publishing, 1999);
