Hakan Ä°mert

Biography

Hakan Ä°mert, who completed his undergraduate education at the Haliç University Faculty of Architecture Interior Architecture Department in 2006, completed his master's degree in 2008 at the Institute of Science and Technology Interior Architecture Department of the same university. Between 2006 and 2010, he worked in various commercial structures, banks and housing projects. In 2011, he worked in commercial and industrial buildings, hospitals and public projects as project coordinator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, which started by returning home in 2012, completed its doctorate program in Interior Architecture Department in 2017. He worked as a project manager and construction site coordinator between 2012 - 2017 in office, hospital, store and transportation projects mainly in hotel projects. There are degrees and prizes he has won from international competitions he has participated in. He is currently working on hotels, stores and office projects, mainly in the Gulf Countries, as a managing partner of Magre Design & Contracting. As of May 2017, he is an academic assistant professor in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Department of Architecture and Design at Ä°stinye University.
