Melih Bulu

Biography

Melih Bulu graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Industrial Engineering in 1992 and graduated from BoÄŸaziçi University Department of Business Administration with Ph.D. Bulu worked in CASA, Atak Helicopter and F-16 Programs as project engineer in private sector at TAI. He worked in P & G as a Deputy Director of Factory, especially in areas of efficiency and cost saving. In the same way, he worked as a professional and an entrepreneur in his working life and advised on strategy and management issues in many production and service companies. Prof. dr. Bulu, BoÄŸaziçi, Ä°stanbul Åžehir, Ä°stanbul Ticaret, Istanbul Culture and Yeditepe Universities. His books were published in prestigious publications on the competitiveness of cities, regions and sectors, in particular his expertise; articles published in leading magazines in the world; as a guest speaker at prestigious conferences in his field; conference presidencies. Prof. dr. Prior to his appointment to the Rectorate of Melih Bulu Ä°stinye University, he developed his academic management experience by performing administrative duties such as Department Chair, MBA Coordinator and Dean. Bulu has been the General Secretary of International Competitiveness Research Institution since 2004 and since 2011 he is a member of Board of Directors of Istanbul Electric and Electronic Machinery and Information Exporters Association R & D Market.
