Onur Altan

Biography

He completed his undergraduate studies at DGSA Vocational School in 1968 and his MA at O. ALTAN in 1970 under Columbia University-New York ta General Architecture program. He completed his doctorate in Mimar Sinan University Institute of Science in 1983. Prof. Onur Altan was born in 1986 at Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Architecture Interior Architecture Department. In 1987, Altur Altan was promoted to Professor by the Higher Education Council and was appointed Professor at the faculty of MSÜ Architecture. Between 1971 and 2010, she worked as an uninterrupted faculty member at Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Architecture. Dr. Onur Altan is the General Secretary of Mimar Sinan University, Representative of Credit Dormitory Institution, Member of Provincial Advisory Board, O.Altan has been serving as President of Interior Architecture Department and Department of Interior Architecture. In 2006, he also served as the Rector of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and as a member of Inter-University Council and Rectors Committee. In 2010 MSGSÜ den retired Professor. Dr.O.Altan has worked as a faculty member of the Faculty of Architecture at the Haliç University Faculty of Architecture between 2010 and 2016, as well as faculty dean. Professor Dr. Onur Altan has been in the Faculty of Interior Architecture Department of Istinye University since 2017. In 2006, Altan also served as the Rector of the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and as a member of the Inter-University Council and the Rectors Committee. In 2010 MSGSÜ den retired Professor. Dr.O.Altan has worked as a faculty member of the Faculty of Architecture at the Haliç University Faculty of Architecture between 2010 and 2016, as well as faculty dean. Professor Dr. Onur Altan has been in the Faculty of Interior Architecture Department of Istinye University since 2017.
