Biography

Prof Dr Uzay GormuÅŸ graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Hacettepe University in 2001 and completed her doctorate in Molecular Medicine at Istanbul University after receiving a degree of specialization in Biochemistry and Clinical Biochemistry from Ege University Medical Faculty. In the meantime, she has undertaken the management of clinical and research laboratories and departmental foundations and clinical laboratories, including the academic staff of the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University of Science, while continuing research and education studies. As a result of all these works she has done very well, she became an associate professor in 2010. During the year 2012, he was a visiting lecturer at Leeds University, Cancer Institute Clinical Proteomics and Genomics Research Institute. Prof. GörmüÅŸ, who has been publishing numerous national and international publications, has also published two scientific books; There are also many book chapters written in Turkish and foreign languages. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Turkish Molecular Medicine and Clinical Biochemistry Experts, contributes to the organization of national and international scientific meetings, and has editorial and consulting duties in international scientific journals. Prof Dr Uzay Gormus has been involved in the family of Istinye University since the end of 2016 and continues her scientific research by combining the experience she gained during medical education with his experience in biochemistry and molecular medicine. There are also many book chapters written in Turkish and foreign languages.
