Biography
He graduated from BoÄŸaziçi University-Faculty of Education, Department of Chemistry in 1989. He completed his master's degree in 1997 at Istanbul Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology. In 1999, he completed his Ph.D. in Istanbul Technical University, Institute of Science and received the title of "Doctor". In 2006, he received the title of "Associate Professor" from the field of Chemistry Science. Synthesis of derivatives of phthalocyanine compounds such as oxa, aza and thia ether; Investigations on the elution of transition metal complexes, conductivity, gas sensor, optical and electrochemical, spectroelectrochemical properties and obtaining nanomaterials from these compounds. He taught organic chemistry course for more than 10 years at GATA Faculty of Medicine. He has been working as a master and doctoral jury. The articles published in internationally respected magazines (SCI) received close to 500 citations. The SCI H index is 15. In addition to the books, there are 2 completed projects and 1 printed General Medical Chemistry Book for Faculty of Medicine. A large part of these studies were presented in national and international scientific meetings as papers and posters. He has received articles and researches, GATA-Second Medical Sciences Second Prize (2005 and 2007), TUBITAK-Publication Encouragement Awards (2002-2011). He has been an arbitrator in international scientific journals listed on the SCI. He retired from the Turkish Armed Forces in February 2017 with the voluntary senior Colonel ranks to continue his scientific and academic work as a civilian. Professor Dr. Tanju Ceyhan is in academic staff as a professor at İstinye University Faculty of Pharmacy in April 2017. Professor Dr. Tanju Ceyhan speaks English, is married and has one child.
