Biography

Mr. Shepherd joined Titan Spine in November 2010 following 20 years of experience in the spinal, neurosurgical and medical research industries. He has held sales, management, marketing, educational and strategic training positions within Impliant, DePuy Spine/Johnson & Johnson, and Codman/Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Shepherd has successfully developed and implemented marketing and training strategies for both investigational and commercially available surgical implants. Before coming to Titan Spine, he was responsible for the management of the Impliant TOPS™ IDE clinical study at 25 investigational sites. Prior to that, he helped with the launch of the Charité™ artificial disc at DePuy Spine by assisting in the creation and implementation of the company's surgeon training program and managing over 20 Midwest regional training center surgeons. Mr. Shepherd is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
