Biography
Aneesa qualified as a medical doctor from the University of the Witwatersrand. Aneesa worked in the paediatric department at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital and later joined the HIV clinical research group, conducting clinical trials in paediatric and adult HIV and TB before joining the pharmaceutical industry in 2008. She started her career at Lilly in 2012 and was appointed as Medical Director: South Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa in 2014. Aneesa is responsible for all medical and regulatory activities within the affiliate including clinical operations.
