Biography
She has graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Department of Architecture in 2002. She completed her MSc in 2009, in ITU at Architectural Design Program during which she studied at Technical University of Eindhoven, as an Erasmus student for six months. She is holding a PhD degree from ITU in Architectural Design with her jointly supervised dissertation which focuses on urban identity within globalization. She has carried out phenomenological researches into topics that include culture and power relations as manifested in architecture and urban design. She is also a practicing architect worked in various architectural offices including TeÄŸet Architecture, attended various national and international workshops and architectural competitions. She works in Mef University at Faculty of Art Design and Architecture as an Assist. Prof. since 2017.
Research Interest
Her current research interests include relations between theory and practice in architectural design, relational theory, body-space-time relations and relational experience in architecture as well as transdisciplinarystudies.
