Biography
Dr. Faik Gür completed his PhD at The University of Texas at Austin in 2006. He taught at Sabanci University and The University of Texas at Austin before coming to Özyeğin University. Dr. Gür regularly teaches courses and conducts research on History of Turkish Modernization, Nations and Nationalisms, Food Security, Historical Sociology, as well as Rural and Urban Sociology.
