Biography

Cemal Meran is a professor in the department of mechanical engineering at pamukkale university. He is a Director of Materials Research and Application Center, Pamukkale University Strategic Planning Commission Member. In 1993, he graduated from Pamukkale University and became the first graduate of Pamukkale University. After graduation, he worked on heating-ventilation and plastic injection molding in private sector between 1993-1995. In 1994, he started his post graduate studies at Pamukkale University and became a Mechanical Engineer in 1996. He completed his doctoral studies in 2001, which he started at Pamukkale University in 1996. During the period of July-August 2000, Çanakkale 116th Regiment made his army in the 7th Division by taking advantage of the law of military service, In August 2002, he was appointed as Assistant Professor Doctor of Mechanical Engineering at Pamukkale University Engineering Faculty. On January 11, 2008, he received his title of Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering. In April 2013 he was promoted to Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of Pamukkale University. He is still working as a Professor Doctor at Pamukkale University. From 1998 to November 2004, he was a member of the Board of Denizli Branch of Chamber of Mechanical Engineers. Between 2003 and May 2005, he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pamukkale University Alumni Association, a founding member. In 2004, the Committee on Combatting Disaster Organizations terminated as an AMOK member.
