Biography
He was born in Karabük in 1968. He completed his primary and secondary college here. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Theology in 1986, He received his master's degree in Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences in 1992 and completed his doctorate in 1999. He was a teacher in the Ministry of Education between 1990-97, and SAÜ between 1997-2000. He served as an Arabic lecturer at the faculty of theology. In 2000, he was appointed as a faculty member of SAU Theological Faculty, Arabic Language and Literature. Between the years 2000-2009, he served as an assistant professor at Sakarya University Faculty of Theology and as an associate professor between 2009-2014. He has been working as a professor since 2014 and has been serving as the Coordinator of SAÜ Mevlana since 2015. In the 2001-2002 academic year, he worked for a year with the Ministry of National Education scholarship in Jordan for a short period of time in different countries such as Malaysia, Morocco, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Germany. Dr. Ahmet Bostancı is married with two children.
