Biography
Dr. Adile GülÅŸah Saranlı was born in Ankara in 1977. She received her undergraduate degree in 1999 from The Faculty of Educational Sciences, Guidance and Counseling Psychology, Ankara University. While continuing to work as a Counseling Psychologist, she received her masters degree in 2003 from the Faculty of Education, Guidance and Counseling Psychology in the METU. Subsequently, she received her doctoral degree from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Child Development, Hacettepe University with her doctoral thesis focusing on gifted children and their families. Dr. Saranlı has been conducting research on gifted education and methods for supporting gifted childen, innovative techniques in education, creative and contemporary techniques in early childhood education, and the psychology of early childhood. She has several national and international publications, book chapters, conference papers and seminars on these subjects. She participated in many conferences and workshops abroad, some supported by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), related to gifted education, innovation in education as well as the identification and development of intelligence and talent.
