Aylin Özman

Biography

Dr. Özman received her BSc (Hons.) from Middle East Technical University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 1988, her MA degree in 1990 and her Ph. D degree in 1995 from Bilkent University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration. She served as a research assistant at Bilkent University in the Department of International Relations between 1990-1993 and in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration between 1993-1995. She joined Hacettepe University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 1997 and became full professor in 2010. She lectured at METU and BaÅŸkent University. She was visiting research fellow at London University, School of Oriental and African Studies and Erfurt University.   

Research Interest

Her research interests include Turkish politics and political thought, political theory and gender studies. She has national and international publications, conference presentations and seminars on these topics.
