Biography
Heves BeÅŸeli graduated from Middle East Technical University in 2006. In 2009, she received her masters degree from the same university with her thesis titled "Web as a System Organization: Frankfurt Römerberg Competition Project". In 2015 she completed her PhD studies in METU with her thesis titled "Reconceptualizing the Architectural Precedent: Textual Models of Reading". Between 2012-2013, she taught 4th year design studio in EskiÅŸehir Osmangazi University. From 2014 to 2016 she worked as a part time instructor and taught basic design courses in Bilkent University and Atılım University. Since 2011 she has realized numerous architectural projects and has been awarded by World Architecture Community twice in 19th and 20th cycles.
Research Interest
Her academic interests include basic design, architectural design and design education, architectural precedent, urban architecture and mat-building.
