Biography
He was born in Sivas at 1944 and educated primary, secondary and high schools in Malatya. Educated in the Middle East Technical University (METU), Civil Engineering Department, and graduated at 1967. He had had his Masters degree from the same university on the subject of “torsion on slab and beams” which was experimented on a model of actual reinforced concrete slab and beam, at 1969. This publication has been shared throughout the academic media in the World. Except the Military service, he had not worked in any governmental institution; worked fully in private construction sector. In the years of 1968-1995, totaly 27 years, in a private Contracting Company, he worked on Industrial Construction Projects such as Cement Factories, Cooling Towers, Malt Factory, Refinery, Paper Factory, Natural Gas Distribution, Lightrail System in Turkey and a Housing Project outside Turkey. In these projects, began as an engineer and ended up with the top management. He worked in AfÅŸin-Elbistan Thermal Tower Plant Cooling Tower Project (1976-1980) with German experts and Ankara Natural Gas Distribution Project (1988-1991) with British experts which were the first contracted in their own field, in Turkey.
