Biography
He got his bechalor degree in 1985 from Marmara University, MS in 1995 from Middle East Technical University, and EdD in 1999 from Arizona State University. His doctoral study is in elementary mathematics education. He worked as an assistant professor in Abant Izzet Baysal University from 1999 to 2004. He moved to Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences in 2004. He served as the head of the department of Elementary Education. He also served as the program coordinator for primary education BS program and mathematics education MS and PhD programs.
Research Interest
His field of interest includes childrens’ mathematical thinking and development, development of geometric thinking, math learning difficulties.
