"Temi Marcella Awogboro is a Director at The Abraaj Group in the healthcare team. Ms Awogboro has over 10 years of experience in finance across developed and growth markets. Prior to joining The Abraaj Group in 2013, Ms Awogboro was on the founding team of the EchoVC Partner’s Africa Fund, a seed, early stage and growth technology venture capital fund focused on financing and cross-pollinating leading technologies, teams and business models in Africa and America. Ms Awogboro started her career at Goldman Sachs International, initially as a Derivatives trader, then as an Investment Analyst. She was responsible for building the firm’s European internet coverage and framework for valuing and investing in high tech companies. She was named a Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Scholar and was a recipient of the Goldman Sachs and Institute of International Education’s Global Leaders Award. Ms Awogboro graduated with an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and an MA degree with First Class Honors in Economics from the University of Cambridge."
