Semra Hasancebi

Biography

She is an associate professor at Genetics and Bioengineering Department of Trakya University. She is also a researcher about plant molecular biology and biotechnology. She has conducted and joined many national and international research projects focused on molecular mechanism of the plant-pathogen interactions, biotic stress and molecular marker applications on plant science. She has many research articles and book chapters. She is a member of the “international plant proteomics” and “national molecular biology” organisations. And also a occasional reviewer for scientific journals among which Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology, The Plant Journal, Journal of Plant Molecular Breeding, The Turkish journal of Biology

Research Interest

Biotic stress, molecular plant-fungal pathogen interactions, plant proteomics, molecular marker assisted selection (MAS), plant secondary metabolites.
