Biography
Dr. Serhat Özekes was born in Washington D.C., USA on 1978. He received B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Marmara University, Computer and Control Education Department in years 2000, 2002 and 2006, respectively. He has published more than 25 papers in various international journals and conference proceedings on data mining, image processing and EEG signal processing. Dr. Özekes worked in Istanbul Commerce University between 2002-2009 and in Istanbul Arel University between 2009-2012. In 2012, he joined the Department of Computer Engineering of Uskudar University, and since that year he has been working as head of department and vice dean of Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
