Biography
He was born in 1951. He graduated from Erzurum Education Institute in 1972. He finished his undergraduate education in Ä°stanbul University Law Faculty. In 1980, he completed his master's degree in Social Policy in Ä°stanbul University Institute of Social Sciences. He got his PhD degree with the thesis named “The Causes and Consequences of Divorce in Turkey” in Social Structure and Change Department in Ä°stanbul University Institute of Social Sciences in 1989. He worked as a teacher in High Schools and also worked as a lawyer for 22 years. He worked as an administrator in NGOs. He is a scholar at Uskudar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Sociology Department.
