Michael C. Pearl

Biography

Mr. Pearl was named Vice President, Finance and Treasurer in July 2016. He previously served as Vice President, Finance beginning in May 2013, focusing on coordinating project finance activities related to Anadarko's Mozambique development. From April 2009 to April 2013, Mr. Pearl served as Corporate Controller, responsible for the company’s operational and corporate accounting function. Prior to this position, he assisted in structuring the initial public offering of Anadarko’s publicly traded subsidiary, Western Gas Partners, LP, in 2008, as well as serving as its Chief Financial Officer until April 2009. Mr. Pearl also served as Director, Corporate Tax from August 2006 to December 2008. Prior to joining Anadarko, Mr. Pearl worked for Ernst & Young LLP, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance and accounting. 

Research Interest

Mr. Pearl holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University. Mr. Pearl also holds an MBA from Rice University where he was a Jones Scholar Award recipient. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
