Biography
Dr.CloviceKankya is set to receive his PhD in Epidemiology and Public health from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science (NVH) in Dec 2011. Currently, he is working as Lecturer in Makerere University Kampala (MAK) Uganda. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Epidemiology and Public health. He has authored in the area of mycobacterial infections in the pastoral ecosystems of Uganda in BMC and tropical animal health and production research articles and AIDS book. He is a member of Uganda Veterinary Association (UVA).
Research Interest
Zoonotic infections (emerging and re-emerging zoonoses) and Rural Development. I would prefer to build a “hub” for nontuberculous mycobacterial(NTM) infection research in Uganda and the great lakes region.
