Biography
A retired Senior Vice President from General Dynamics, Mr. Wynne has played a prominent role in International Development and Strategy. In addition to his 23 years at General Dynamics, where he served in various senior positions, he spent three years with Lockheed Martin after selling General Dynamics` Space Systems Division to Martin Marietta. Prior to joining the Bush Administration, Mr. Wynne was involved in venture capital. As a member of the NextGenFund Executive Committee, he nurtured small technology companies through their startup phase, as well as served in executive positions of two of those companies. In 2001, he was confirmed as Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. In 2003, he was appointed as Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. A prominent supporter of the Renewable Energy Industry, Mr. Wynne has supported the Air Force`s continued leadership in clean energy procurement.
