Biography
President of the Republic of Poland from 1995 to 2005. He participated in the famous Round-Table negotiations in Poland, finally bringing to Poland and all Central /Eastern Europe peaceful transformation from communism to democracy . Mr. Kwaśniewski is a co-founding Member and the first Chairman of the Social Democratic Party of the Republic of Poland. Mr. Kwaśniewski was co-author of the new democratic Constitution of Poland, signed into law on 16 July, 1997.
