Biography
Richard König is the Senior Vice President for Business Development and the Joint Managing Director of the Renewables Business in Austria, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Before joining ContourGlobal, Mr. König headed the Energy & Utilities team at the Raiffeisen Bank International where he worked for seven years on Mergers & Acquisitions and financing transactions in Europe and CIS. In his earlier career, he worked at the London-based Power & Utilities team of ABN AMRO with a focus on transactions in Europe, Russia, the Caucasus, and Asia. Richard also worked in the General M&A Advisory group of ABN AMRO in Amsterdam focusing on LBO transactions.
