Biography
Appointed to the current role on April 2015. Klaus Eichas has been working since 1993 in various roles in cement business. He joined Holcim in the same year and held a number of positions, including Production Manager and Plant Manager in Germany (1997 – 2007) as well as Technical Director in Russia (2007 – 2009). He was responsible as Technical Director for the erection of a green field cement plant in Kazakhstan for Vicat (2009 – 2011). After working for VDZ as a Senior Consultant mainly in Russian speaking countries he joined CRH in 2015. Graduated as Mining Engineer and holds a PHD in process engineering from Technical University of Clausthal / Germany
