Biography
Dr. Haggans joined KMLabs in 2015. He has extensive experience leading and managing the development and delivery of laser system, communications, and remote sensing products and technologies. He received an MS in Optics from the University of Rochester in 1988 and a Ph.D. in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona in 1992. His industrial experience includes positions at Lockheed Martin, Directed Energy Solutions, CIENA Corporation, and 3M. He is a senior member of the Optical Society of America and holds 12 patents in the areas of optical communications, fiber optics, and laser systems.
