Biography
Karol Ostrowski (born in 1974) received a Master's degree in economics from the Wroclaw Academy of Economics and also has an engineer-electronics specialty. In addition, he passed a post-graduate study "Psychology of Business for Managers" at the Academy named after him. Leon Kozminsky in Warsaw. His career in banking began in 1995 with the position of Bank Counselor at the Bank Zachodni in Wroclaw. From 2003 to 2011, he was the Director of risk assessment and a member of the board of the factoring company BZ WBK Faktor. During his work, he led the project of creating "from scratch" the factoring business Bank Zachodni WBK, engaged in the legal part of creating a company, developing risk policies and introducing products. Later he was in charge of managing credit risk and operating customer service. In 2007, it introduced the product "inverse factoring with insurance", which became the first such offer on the Polish market, and its share in the portfolio of the company exceeded 40%. Prior to appointment to Kredobank, he headed the Non-Residential Real Estate Financing Division at the PKO Bank Polski SA Center for Credit Risk Analysis and Valuation
