Maria Marunyak

Biography

 Maria specialises in corporate law, M&A, competition, antitrust, and investments. Her practice also includes banking law, restructuring, and complex cross-border transactions as well as commercial and labour law. She regularly advises clients on a wide range of corporate and M&A matters, including local and cross-border acquisitions, merger control, establishment and operation of joint ventures and representative offices of foreign companies. In addition, Maria focuses on securities regulation, including the issue of bonds and shares, compliance and reporting obligations, transactions with securities, as well as complex issues falling within the scope of labour law. Maria has cooperated with international law firms (Gide Loyrette Nouel and Beiten Burkhardt Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft), local law firms, and Ukrainian investment companies. She graduated from one of Ukraine’s leading universities. She is fluent in English and also speaks French and German.
