Wojciech Balczun

Biography

Mr. Wojciech Balczun has been Advisor to CEO at Public Joint Stock Company "Ukrainian Railway" since August 9, 2017 and served as its Director General from April 20, 2016 to August 9, 2017. Mr. Balczun served as Executive Vice President of Business Development Europe at La Jolla Capital Inc. Mr. Balczun is a specialist in the field of management and international trade. From 2007 to 2013, he served as Chief Executive Officer for PKP Cargo SA.; and from 2002 to 2007, he served as Managing Director for PKO BP SA. He served as the Chief Executive Officer/President of Management Board at PKP Cargo Spólka Akcyjna (formerly, PKP CARGO S.A) from June 01, 2008 to January 28, 2013 and also as its Member of Management Board from January 29, 2008 to January 28, 2013. He serves as Chairman of the Board for numerous companies such as: Employers of Poland, PKP Cargo International, Polish State Railways, Inteligo Financial Services and the Polish Tourism Development Agency. He serves as the Chairman of Supervisory Board at LOT Polish Airlines S.A. Mr. Balczun served as a Member of Supervisory Board at Przedsiebiorstwo Spedycyjne TRADE TRANS Sp. z o.o. He was a member of the Marketing Committee for VISA Poland and MasterCard Poland.
