Biography
He was born on May 4, 1972 in Cherepovets, Vologda region , Russia. In 1994 he graduated from the Cherepovets State University , in 2001 - the St. Petersburg State Technical University, majoring in Financial Management. Mr. Pertin is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northumbria University (UK) and a graduate of the Institute of Professional Managers (ACCA) . His career Alex Pertin began in 1995 at the Cherepovets Metallurgical Combine. Later, he continued to work in the metallurgical holding Severstal-Group (Russia), holding various managerial positions, including the post of general director of Izhora Pipe Plant, as well as deputy general director of Severstal-Group. Currently, Alexey Pertin holds the position of general director of PJSC Smart Holding. In the framework of the Metinvest BV Supervisory Board, Mr. Pertin oversees the strategy, production efficiency, sales and management of investment projects. Mr. Pertin is the Chairman of the Strategy and Investment Committee and is a member of the Committee for Compensation and Appointments of the Metinvest BV Supervisory Board
