Biography
Pavol covers energy and environment as Senior Editor at EurActiv.sk, a website on EU news and analysis. He regularly contributes to the other outlets of EurActiv's pan-European media network. He also works as Associate Fellow with the Slovak Foreign Policy Association, most recently contributing on energy policy to the SET Plan website and the Yearbook of Slovakia's Foreign Policy 2016. He regularly comments EU affairs in the Slovak media. Pavol previously worked as journalist at the daily newspaper SME in Bratislava and as energy correspondent for EU affairs outlet Europolitics (Contexte) in Paris. He gained experience in strategic advisory in the private sector at EDF R&D in Paris and in the public sphere at the Slovak Foreign Ministry in Bratislava. Pavol earned a Master's degree in European affairs at Sciences Po Paris, where he later lectured. He also studied at Comenius University in Bratislava and at Bard College in New York.
