Monica M Dussan

Biography

Dr. Dussan is employed by Pediatric Specialists of America (PSA), the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Miami Children’s Health System. She is a pediatric endocrinologist within the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Dussan earned her medical degree from Del Rosario University in Bogotá, Colombia. She then completed a residency in pediatrics at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York City, followed by a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the University of Florida/Nemours Children’s Specialty Care in Jacksonville, Florida. Her clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid, growth and pituitary problems.   Dr. Dussan is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. She is a member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society and Endocrine Society. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she had presented at medical conferences.   Dr. Dussan sees patients at the Nicklaus Children’s Boynton Beach Care Center and the Nicklaus Children’s Palm Beach Gardens Outpatient Center. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.   The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Nicklaus Children's Hospital offers a complete array of diagnostic, treatment and consulting services for infants, children and adolescents with endocrine disorders. The care team is dedicated to fulfilling the medical and support needs of children and their families through a multidisciplinary approach that has helped children from around the world.
